Dissertation Camp. Dissertation Camp is a project of the Writing Center and the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. The Writing Center began this initiative in 2011. We provide the support. We provide the time and space. We provide lunch. You provide the writing.A written dissertation proposal of approximately 30-40 pages and a presentation of the dissertation proposal are made to a committee of graduate faculty. This committee will examine the dissertation topic and research methods. The committee has to be approved by the department chair at least four (4) weeks before distributing the proposal or the dissertation to the committee.
In this workshop participants will learn how to format a thesis or dissertation using the University’s Microsoft Word template. Instructors will cover converting the finished Word document to PDF and submitting it for review., powered by the Localist Community Event Platform.
